An interesting piece. Very early and quite different from what this kind of rhetoric eventually turned into in the 1930s and 40s, but it is making me think the of the rise of strong nationalistic pro-Volk movements after WWI, and hinting at the future importance of Bavaria and the politicians who came from it and glorified it as the cradle of all things folk and Germanic in the following decades.
